Nine Inch Nails	I can't tell you why I like this band so much. It is a mystery to me. When i tell people that I like them, they can't believe it. Maybe its my glasses ...and the fact I'm not dressed in black clothing.
Frank Zappa	Tragically, this true American iconoclast died back in December 1993. Fortunately, his music lives on. If you like music that makes you think, AND laugh your ass off, this is it.	Beastie Boys	I still can't stand their first 2 albums, but once they picked up instruments and learned how to play them within the rap idiom, they've made magic. Sabotage is probably the best song of the 90's.
Primus	Les Claypool is most likely the most versatile and inventive bassist in music right now. His vocals make Tom Waits sound like Enrico Caruso, but that only adds to the charm. If you want to rock hard and laugh hard, you can't do much better than this band. Besides, how seriously can you take a band that openly acknowledges that they suck?
